This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for August 27, 2007:
The most difficult question I had to answer? When you let go of pain, you announce that you have recreated your life. At this point in my life, I am in the process of washing of my pain from my childhood. There was so much in the past that nearly overburdened my heart, including my family, the people who taught me and my classmates. A couple months ago, I got a fortune cookie from a Chinese restaurant that said: "The problems of today will be buried by the sands of time." To me that indicates that remembering your past but not discussing it. So I think the most difficult question is "Are you and your family getting along?" I find it hard to respond because it is neither yes or no, but I am trying to let go. That question brings back my past when I am trying to move forward.
