What, for you, is the purpose of spirituality or religion?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for August 17, 2007:

If science cannot explain everything that happens in our lives, then maybe spirituality can.  But to really understand oneself, one must listen to the whispers of one's heart.  We yearn for those tough questions we don't have an accurate answer to, so we devote ourselves to a Quest that will lead us to the answer if we open our hearts.  On the path, spirituality is the main resource of the answer.  It is something that connects the Divine  World with the Material Plane, helping us realize the truth behind not just being meatbags that use cash and other meatty things.

You are giving birth to yet another divine being.  Help him or her find his or her purpose, and do not suppress it.  Love truthfully with gratitude and Honor.  Respect the spirit in the child.
